Northern Beaches Animal Hospital now offers Professional Pet Grooming for dogs, cats and rabbits. Introducing Master Pet Groomer, Kristin Royce-Carter, who studied grooming at the Pet Smart Pet Academy in California, and ran a successful Pet Grooming salon within a veterinary clinic, managing a staff of four has joined our team after re-located from California, USA, marrying Bilgola local, Tristan Royce-Carter.

Grasping our colloquialisms can be difficult, but there’s no language barrier when it comes to Kristin understanding her clients specific grooming needs, in fact, she takes great care to ensure your pet comes back to you looking gorgeous. She has a special touch with nervous dogs and cats are no problem, as they literally lie down allowing Kristin to clip them. It’s a sight to see!

Specialising in Pedigree Clips and hand scissoring means local residents no longer need to travel to their breeders to get a breed -specific clip, and with our opening hours between 7.30am-7pm mean drop offs and picks ups can work in with your busy schedules.

Kristin is so passionate about her craft that she upholds a satisfaction guarantee policy, understanding that everyone one and their animals are different and will happily change or ‘touch up’ anything that is not to your satisfaction.

Kristin says “Grooming is a great way to work with animals in an artistic way. I find the challenge of giving every individual animal a breed specific or a new flattering look very rewarding, as I love to see the owners faces when they come to pick up their newly coiffed pets!”.

Kristin is available Tuesday to Saturday by appointment between 8.30am and 6pm. Bookings can be made by calling the clinic on 9997-4609. Kristin uses Dermcare, Paw and Fidos products to cater for your pets individual skincare needs. Grooming service includes bathing, clipping, ear cleaning and nail trims. Prices start at $50, sedation is available for overly stressed or aggressive pets.
